Today was a cold and wet day. At one of my (many) sister's school, they had a snow day event. A nice winter festival of arts and crafts, some carnival games, and a tented area in which they brought in snow. YAY! It was raining all day so this made for a very fun, wet, and cold adventure.Although I had been planning to go to this event for at least two weeks, I still forgot to pack some gloves for him, so his hands got super cold super fast. Big surprise there. Thankfully, I did remember the warm change of clothes for when he got wet.
One thing I realized today... him and I both need to get some rain friendly shoes. Chucks don't cut it for either of us. Oh, and ALWAYS bring gloves to the snow!! Even if it didn't fall from the sky.
