It's one of those mysteries of the universe. Every parent (that I know of) has been around that person who just feels they know better than you when it comes to your child. They know what your child should and should not do, say, or eat, and they proceed to "teach" you these things as well. And the kicker is... these people usually do not have any children of their own.
Maybe it is a friend, maybe it is a family member, I'm sure many of them are complete strangers. Yet, they are all out there, waiting to teach you how to raise your child since they know better than you do as their parent right?
I know I sound bitter, it's just really hard to deal with sometimes. Especially when these people are on the Husbands side of life and saying what I felt might cause big drama. I don't take kindly to anyone tell me what to do with my son, and it is far worse if that someone doesn't even have the slightest clue of what it's really like to raise children.
If you notice the way our son acts you will see we are doing a wonderful job with him. He is extremely happy, amazingly smart, super sweet, and so easy going. To us he is perfect. The only thing I am worried about is that he will be there every time I speak my mind to someone and he will grow up to be so outspoken people are intimidated by him. But that is a risk I am very willing to take.
