Pets and bare feet can cause a rather funky smell. This formula leaves your carpets looking and smelling fresh again.
- 1 cup borax
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 10 drops juniper essential oil
- 5 drops cypress essential oil
Combine the ingredients in a plastic bowl. Add essential oils and mix well, breaking up clumps. Sprinkle the mixture over the carpet and wait several hours, overnight is possible, before vacuuming.
